We made a reservation through the app and came, but they told us it would be closed on August 15th and that we couldn't make a donation. We called two or three different days before arriving, but they didn't answer. This is entirely your fault. I took an Uber there 60 miles away, and we ended up spending money for nothing. What a disgrace.
I understand that the center is closing down by August 15. I have accepted that. What I do not accept is the fact that the center has been locking the doors before 7:00 PM, which is their closing time. I drove 25 minutes to make a donation and arrive there at A little after 6 PM and the doors were locked. There were other people outside, trying to gain access as well. Everyone was denied entry. I arrived at 11:30 am there was no one at the front desk,but there was a long line. And since I never have done this before, I got in line. I saw alot of employees standing around not doing much of anything. Plus after screening someone in the would wait at least 10 minutes before calling another. After being in line for an hour I finally get to talk to somebody, only to find out that I had to sign in and when I went to do that was told that they weren't taking anymore new donors.
