Honestly the worst experience I’ve had with CSL all year, I could give it zero stars if I could. The check in people are fine, but they really need to properly train the people on the donor floor, not only how to put do a simple IV but how to be a professional with donors. I have been going to this location for a while and I have never received worse treatment before. The first worker I had she had no idea what she was doing. No rewards, lowest pay of any center, and wait times/broken machines/other issues. Feel like cattle, they’ll take people clearly jonesing, makes you feel gross for how they take poor people for animals.
I’ve given 33 times at CSL. I’m usually very polite and in a good mood and usually leave feeling fine and happy to see some of my favorite workers. My last give was a disaster. The phlebotomist was rude, didn’t listen to my input and had to readjust my needle multiple times and allowed the machine to alarm 26 times. After my hand turned purple, they finally let up in the pressure. One star is even too high. I really only have an issue with the nurse who has red hair and gages. She’s blown my vein and then put in my chart that I was being difficult and refused a restick so I couldn’t donate again until they cleared it and I was counseled. When it was her that told me she wasn’t going to bother with it and sent me home. She has also been the only person to ever send me home. Every single time she checks me in she sends me home for “low hematic” and it’s like only one point off but I know she’s lying bcs... read more
