Since I started donation the place has become really slow and there is never enough staff. Some of them apparently get enjoyments from hurting you when they poke you with the needles. Not good! There’s a lady in there that bruised me and my wife arm so bad when hooking you up to the machine. It cost us a week of donation and then when I was back, I kid you not, same lady was next to me and did exactly the same thing to an old man in there. Does not seem they’re gonna do anything about!
A blind person could stick better then most here.
Nice, newer facility. It is walk in, but usually doesn't take long to get in and out. Leave 2-3 hours for your first visit,but after that it usually takes less than 90 minutes. The facility is well laid out. The process is simple and thoroughly explained, and the staff always keeps you informed as you proceed through the steps.
This specific CSL has the best staff when it comes to your vitals and donor stations. My favorite phlebotomist is Luis, he is the best when it comes to making you feel at ease. I told him he should teach the newbies when they come on board. Most of the staff knows me now that I've been going for almost two years. I don't think I'd try to donate anywhere else.
