Very clean facility and helpful staff.
This was by far one of the worst experiences my family has ever had. I came down to Lake Wylie to visit family and my children really wanted to swim so I brought them to the Y. We are not members, but we could still pay 30.00 for a nonmember fee to swim. When we arrived the gentleman at the counter was very pleasant, but when we got to the outside pool We got up to the window and the guy said we only had an hour to swim and I said that was ok, and he gave us wrist bands. I'm very disappointed with the way Juliana, one of the lifeguards, treated our group during a recent visit. She was extremely rude and raised her voice at the kids in a way that felt aggressive and uncalled for. We fully respect the need for pool rules and safety, but there's a professional and respectful way to address children. Her tone and attitude made the environment uncomfortable, and I hope this is addressed so all guests, especially young ones, feel welcome and safe. And by the way, they deleted my last review.
