Crystal Beach 13 was so dirty when we arrived that we left and found lodging elsewhere. Mold on the wall and dead bugs behind the couch and end table. I used chlorox wipes to wipe chocolate milk drips and stickiness off table and chairs. Towel rack had been pulled out of wall in bathroom. Large black ants paraded through the kitchen. What a great spot for vacation / beautiful home right on quiet little Upper Herring Lake!
So we were fortunate enough to find an opening the summer of 2020 and stayed at a property offered through their website but year of 2021 was fully booked. Looked at booking property in 2022 at 350 days out (set alarm to make sure we hopped right on it as property is popular) and was able to book it but receive a Phone call a few days later saying their website is glitched and we shouldn't have been able to make reservations. Had a great time beautiful weather the weather was so clear you could swim all day in it
Used them for a cottage rental few years ago and they were excellent. I am looking to use them again but cottages are booked. I definitely recommend them for long weekend get-a-ways or vacation on Beautiful Crystal Lake in Frankfort Michigan or (Beulah) at other end of the lake.
