Nice walking paths. Finding the entrance is a bit difficult
For a landmark, this is a 5/5, for a racecourse, it is a 3.5. Tell me why in the 4 + years I’ve raced/ran here, it always feels blazing hot even when it’s supposedly 60 degrees F and I always feel nauseous after the first mile mark of the HS course. The view is pretty nice however and the trail feels nice on my knees. Beware of getting dusty shoes and narrow paths and sharpish turns at some points, if you are racing. Amazing view of Crystal Springs Reservoir
Such a challenging course for high school racers. These gruesome 2.95 miles of rolling hills and lots and LOTS of dustttt. But on a side note if you’re not racing the course, it is such a nice place to visit! The scenery is stunning and the weather always works out when I’m up there. Great photo opportunities of the view and of course you can enjoy the beauty on a run or walk.
