I was a patient for about 2 years (maybe longer), I was going through some mental health struggles which she was aware of but was unable to help, and I missed three appointments in a year. She dismissed me as a patient and even after the appeal (because now my mental health issues are being treated) she stood on the dismissal. This doctor has been one of the most caring and supportive people I’ve ever met, with me being a young adult I was so nervous and worried a doctor wouldn’t take me seriously but she has been so wonderful and takes my care very very seriously! No matter what she is always listening to me and never pushes anything I say away or down! I plan to stick with her for a long time!
After my doctor abruptly ended his practice, and I had an urgent need to see a doctor, I talked to an Aurora nurse, who made me an appointment to see Dr. Rieser. I had made a future appointment with Dr. Rieser to establish care, but my need was too urgent to wait until that future appointment. Dr. Rieser did not think my need was "acute" enough, despite my being told by an Aurora nurse that I urgently needed to be seen, so her office cancelled my appointment before I could be seen. Dr. Rieser is very warm and welcoming! She takes her time to listen and care. She is very thorough and will go above and beyond to find the solution to your concerns.
