As stated on their website, Crystal Pools is a “provider “ of pools. For our pool, all the work was done by subcontractors and for certain parts, we were expected to pay the contractors directly. I was initially curious about this, but now suspect it is a way of distancing themselves from the work to avoid any liability for poor workmanship. Late for the season for us but can’t wait for next year when the grandkids can enjoy. Permits were tough and working around my work schedule but each township has their own requirements. We went with an above ground pool due to septic and well. So excited to get the heater hooked up and maybe get the kids in for one swim.
Just had a new Hot Springs Spa installed. The Crystal Pools team did a great job with a some what difficult install. This was the second time purchasing a hot tub from Crystal Pools. We bought our first hot tub from Andrew 15 years ago and had great service and support from the Crystal Pools team over the years. So when the time came for a upgrade the first stop for us was Crystal Pools. Thanks again to the Crystal Pools team for the great service and support.
Prices are twice that of local competitors. Chlorine tablets cost over $10 per pound. Down the road, a chemically identical product cost under $5 per pound. I also purchased a $36 product to remove copper. I then found that very same product (same manufacturer and same quantity) online from multiple sources for just under $10. Everyone has to make a profit, but 50+ percent more than competitors is too much.
