This is a pond not a beach and it now costs $15 for non residents to use for a single day which is absurd. If you are a resident of Newton and have small kids it might be worth it to take them here every once in a while if you don't want to drive to an actual beach but the older you get the less impressive this place is.
Great little urban gem ! Water is clean and temperate. Sunny and shady spots to lay out and read.
Just curious. A couple days ago I saw hundreds of people having a great time picnicking partying floating swimming. Most staying for hours. Where are these people going to the bathroom?
