I stopped in a while ago and chatted with the owner for a bit while picking up a few rockhounding and tumbling supplies. He’s very knowledgeable and helpful since I am a beginner. He also explained due to health and medical reasons it has been pretty tough for him to get to the shop to open it for regular hours. I was happy to see he was feeling better and able open back up, and I plan on going again soon.

I wish I could make a review based on what’s inside the shop but unfortunately I can’t. I’ve been trying to go to this store for years and not only are the hours terrible but when I do show up during posted hours the doors are locked and nobody is there. Like others have said I’m starting to think the place is completely abandoned. Really sad because I would have really liked to at least see what’s inside…
Such a cool rock shop. It's not glitz and glam like other shops which makes it even better. Beautiful selection of rocks, gems, art, and minerals. They also have rock tumblers at a great price.
I haven't been in for probably almost a year but: this is a really cool shop. There is a lot of stuff in there, quite the selection and the prices seem alright. Mike is a cool guy, easy to talk to. He seems to know a lot about the stuff he sells. Talked with him a while about some crystals and about life and such. It's a bummer his shop isn't always open, and I get that it can be annoying to some when they're expecting to go there and can't, but...
