Ever since I started in health care, I wanted to be a nurse practitioner. It was just a matter of how to get there. Working in the outpatient diagnostic area, working with the GI patients during procedures, made me really realize how much GI issues can alter their quality of life. I'm really passionate about this work because, as a provider, I will have more hands on with creating a plan with the patient and then being able to see them come back with a better quality of life, back to their health.
