Crystal Creek is a small farm that grows healthy and beautiful trees. It’s a real “quality over quantity” farm compared to massive tree farms that are more tourist attraction. They only grow two varieties, and they happen to grow the tree varieties we prefer. Our tree has stayed fresh and beautiful for all of December. Our family loved meeting the farmers and cutting our own tree and the train ride looked fun!
If you want to go and cut a tree down with no other experience and no crowds this is the place for you. Nice people but very vanilla place. Most people go to tree farms for the whole experience and atmosphere. Great experience. I would call it a Christmas tree plus experience. The train ride was super fun and everyone extra kind and helpful. Helped us cutting the tree and ensuring it is safe for transport. Always nice to support a family business.
Great selection of trees you cut, best train in the area for the kids, hot chocolate was great too! Highly recommend! They even offer the saws and carts for lugging the tree (but will also pick it up for you too).
Just amazing place for kids. And trees are great quality on top of that. Go try the train.
