The staff was very nice and the facilities were clean. The problem was the cryotherapy itself. First, it doesn't go lower than -140. Second, you don't even get to -140 C. I went three times and each time they didn't run it to get it to -140 before you got in. The last time I asked if it can be set to the temperature beforehand but was told that it would get there. I was hoping to start at -140 and run to -160.
This place is not kept up. Stood in waiting room for over 10 minutes before a front desk person appeared. The water on my float was cold and I got out after only 10 minutes. The front desk girl said she would give me a credit , however I have not gone back. Tge place seems very unorganized unkempt and not professional. Would not recommend 😕
I just had my 3rd float session this morning. The Floatation therapy is a great experience but I will be looking for a new place to go for this treatment. This place is not well managed! the intercom system does not work, (it hasn't worked at all every time i've gone here. The front desk person had no idea how to work the tablet that controls the float room, she had no idea how to turn off the really annoying LED lights in the room). This place is unsanitary. I highly suggest looking for other float places on Long Island. Management is very unprofessional.
This is the filthiest float therapy place I've been to. I purchased a Groupon to this place. I've been here before 4+ years ago. Upon arrival, I was brought to the first float room. I was immediately underwhelmed with the cleanliness and quality of the room. This comes especially from the perspective of someone who avidly goes to float locations throughout NYC and LI, as well as out of state. You'll get a significantly better experience from Floatopia.
