The place is clean and staff are friendly and attentive. Ultimately, this is a pizza place and the pizza is the downfall. Their tomatoe sauce is as generic and sweet as it comes. Their cheese plasticizes and becomes this translucent glue when cooled. It's not tavern style, it's a Sysco food make-a-wish pizza with a tavern label. I don't mean to be harsh, but a ducks a duck. Also, I was only partially discounted for the pint I ordered, it wasn't halfed as the advert outside stated. I can't be back.

The place is good. I'd even say it's one of the best places you can get pizza in New Braunfels. I have lived here for 20 years and have tried nearly everything. This place has thinner crust pizza, which I don't normally enjoy, but I order the double crust and it solves that issue easily. One thing to mention is that most bad reviews at this location are people ordering online or ahead of time. I have no experience with that, all of my orders are for dine-in only. So the food has never been cold / not made in time for me.
We really enjoyed the pizza and the spaghetti with meatballs. I find a lot of pizza places to be kind of bland, but that was not a problem here. Both staff members we dealt with were helpful and friendly. They had nice little coloring books for kids
