Unfortunately the experience I have had from Crusader Newcastle was very disappointing. The lack of communication from the original sales team 18 months ago and it has now continued from the Service team. I recently had my caravan in for its second service, Only 3 of the 5 items were carried out to a satisfactory standard. The caravan was dropped off on the Monday and was there for the week, by Friday lunchtime there had been no communication to me if the caravan was fixed or was ready for pick up. We had a brilliant experience buying a second-hand van from your team. Connor was fantastic and provided excellent customer service. What really stood out was the effort put into preparing the van: it was fully detailed and underwent a comprehensive workshop/roadworthy check prior to collection. This gave us real peace of mind. Highly recommend! We are very happy with the purchase. Who knows, we may be back later in life for a Crusader van!!
Update review -October 2025: My Crosscountry Extreme Caravan Handover Myles the Manager and his Team was good. Requirements were all done Big shoutout to Mark, he was excellent, he has a real passion for what he does ( installing fixtures on my van) and great interpersonal skills. I was told that the”backing plates are cooked” I thought that sounds serious how could this be? They said “aggressive braking” it turns out that the backing plates were in working order and it was just the brake shoes that need replacing. It’s just easier for them to change the whole brake assembly. Why didn’t they just say “the brakes are worn - needs replacing” would have saved both of us the ankst
