I attempted to cancel my membership online 6 months ago. I am still being charged. Beware, they make it next to impossible to cancel. I see now they claim you must cancel in person even though I previously got confirmation online. Ridiculous, very shady- contract says it must be done via certified mail. No transparent company operates this way, frankly. Gym is not cleaned or maintained well. See the plethora of other negative reviews.

Overall the gym is okay. Great selection of machines and free weights and Olympic stations. The problem is the front desk. I don't know how many times I've walked up to the desk after my workout to get a massage and I have to stand there sometimes for minutes before I am acknowledged by anybody. Staff seemed more concerned with being on their phone or having a conversation with somebody else. There are some that are decent that have been there quite a while but some of the new people just act like they don't give a crap

Crunch makes the cancelation process onerous and should be looked at if conforming to consumer protection. I replied to multiple emails clearly requesting cancelation. They acknowledged the emails. Ended up being charged for multiple additional months. Unacceptable.
