I had to come to this location because the Bellmore Crunch is currently closed for renovations. I hate giving bad reviews, and although Im giving 3 stars, this experience honestly deserves 1–2. Ive always chosen my gym based on 2 things: proximity to home & easy parking. I also specifically train around 11am to avoid peak hours. Unfortunately, Amityville fails badly on both. This place used to be fantastic, was kept super clean. Staff would go around cleaning and reracking weights even though most customers would be considerate of this. Now that some of their local competition has closed (Xsport), there doesn’t seem to be the same high standards. Where machinery would sometimes only be broken for a day tops, now it might be a little longer. To be fair, they are still better than some other chains with this. Great gym When Im visiting family this is my go to gym.Great equipment and good service. Very clean and multiple things you can do here.Only downside is no pool.

I reside behind this gym, and the incessant music that emanates from it has been driving me insane since 4 am until 11 pm. It’s become an overwhelming presence in my life, and I can’t help but feel that the volume is increasing with each passing day.
