I really enjoyed my time at Lakeside Cedar Cabins! The cabins are definitely rustic and pretty outdated, but also charming! The owners were very nice and attentive. The wood burning stove to heat the cabin was a little tricky with my toddler, so kid-friendliness is a little iffy in the colder months - but otherwise the view was amazing and we had a great time!
Nice rustic cabin. Great place to relax away from the city. Host was very accomodating and provided us anything we asked for promptly. You get free firewood in Fall. We started our own campfire to make s'mores - an unforgettable experience. Weather cleared up on our last day, wish we had stayed another night to go onto the lake with the boats - at only $20/week rental a complete steal! Would love to come again.
Cabins are rustic but a good rustic, clean comfortable and convenient to Acadia, Bar Harbor, site seeing drives and shopping in Ellsworth. Dan and Diego enhanced our experience. I Highly recommend.
June 2025: Cabin C rental, which is actually at Twin Pines on opposite side of Graham Lake from the rest of the Lakeside Cedar Cabins, run by same lovely folks. 5 nights, family of four with two teens Such a fabulous find!! I would recommend without reservation and absolutely stay again. We couldn't believe our good fortune when Cabin C was available for our last-minute trip to Acadia National Park.
