I took my car here for a/c repair as it was blowing hot. I get a call saying my compressor needs to be replaced and would fix the issue. I get a call saying the compressor was replaced and the a/c was blowing cold again. I pick up the car and on my way home it's blowing warm again. I had a very disappointing experience with this repair shop and would not recommend them. I brought my vehicle in on March 9, 2026 for a repair covered under my warranty and paid my deductible expecting the issue to be properly resolved. From the start, there were delays and poor communication. I was repeatedly told the car would be ready on certain days, but it was not, and I had to constantly follow up myself just to get updates. Do not trust Cruiser Auto Repair shop, based on my experience. They gave me horrible advice that would have cost me $2,000 more than it should have. I went to Cruiser after getting a diagnosis of my 2010 Buick Lucerne from the Maryland Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP). It seemed to have an engine problem, and it was spitting out too many bad things from its tailpipe. The team was great, and patient with managing my repair through my warranty company. Good communication and satisfied with the work they did fixing my Mazda CX5. Would definitely use them again.
Took vehicle in for AC repair, was covered under Maxcare plan from Carmax. They took care of everything, even gave me back my car while waiting for parts (which was very nice) it has been almost 6 months - 1 year since the repair and everything works great. I paid them my deductible and carmax maxcare took care of the rest.
