As first-time cruisers it was pretty daunting trying to get things booked the way we wanted, and after a negative experience with the first company I contacted, Robert and the rest of the group at Cruise Encounters took over and the experience has been fantastic.They were patient and answered all of our questions, kept us in the loop at every stage and worked hard to get the best package for us. We were looking for a travel agent and we were recommended by a friend of mine to Cruise Encounters / Robert for our honeymoon to Italy. He impressed us with his thoughtful planning and smart strategy for traveling around Italy, helping us avoid a lot of the amateur mistakes we would have made on our own. Probably a fine agent for booking packages without any deviation. Pay whatever the price is and move on. Booked a Paul Gauguin Cruise for 70th birthday celebration. Discussed additional pre & post trip accommodations and was simply conveyed and confirmed Paul Gauguin prices. Even after advising same accoms could be found cheaper by booking directly received no follow up or effort. Booked 3 days overwater bungalow on Moorea pre-cruise and 2 nights back view in Papeete post cruise for 1/2 the price quoted by Cruise Encounters/... read more
I have dealt with Cruise Encounters a few times now and have had great cruises. After a sudden medical condition with my travel partner, Robert Elmore was more than helpful . Thanks to Travel Guard and Robert I am able to take my next cruise with no worries.
