Very good place to rent a rv there Rv are well kept
2nd time I have used Cruise America to move across country. Super smooth, no issues, not super expensive considering.
We loved our first RV experience. We were a little frustrated by the pick up time being so late in the day, we would have preferred a morning time. We also needed to add a day to our trip because the return time was at 11 am and we were traveling back that day. Good business model but hard for the customer. We, immediately noticed that some of the cupbords were loose in our RV. They are difficult to open and so the hinges take a lot of abuse, I get that, but two of them were off the hinge while we were loading for the trip. ... read more
Cruise America’s website was helpful, the discounts were excellent, we had a great time on our trip. Good peace of mind for a first time RV trip with the available emergency line which we fortunately never needed. The RV was a little shabby, cracked windshield, black water valve leaky (yuck, discovered en route), water level monitors were totally inaccurate, so I suggest you reject your rental for a nicer model if you see anything wrong on check-in. If Cruise America is the standard for RV rentals, this industry needs help. Unlike car rental companies, do not expect a fairly new vehicle. Our rental RV had 108,000 miles. When I asked, I was told it was one of the best RVs they had. Our rental RV was in sad shape. There were several problems that would have been easily discovered if the vehicle was previously inspected and prepared for rental.
