I recently rented from Cruise America RV Rental and was very disappointed. The base price seemed reasonable, but once I returned the RV, I was hit with a long list of hidden fees that were never clearly explained up front. What was supposed to be an affordable trip quickly became frustrating and expensive. Transparency is critical in rentals, and Cruise America failed to provide it. Pickup and operation were ok. Vehicle was decent, and in ok condition. However, they don't elaborate the massive list of ridiculous charges they will apply to your, "security deposit", until you spend $300 non refundable, and arrive to pick up. But whatever, that's the game, I guess.... But when you are given a list of requirements to receive your, ADDITIONAL, $500 deposit, (NOT DISCOLOSED IN THE INITIAL COST BREAKD), back, and you jump through absolutely every hoop possible to make sure the vehicle is immaculately clean, fl... read more
