We rented a 30-foot RV from Cruise America in Plainfield, illinois last week and traveled south for a family reunion. We had a wonderful experience! The RV was beautiful, with a large refrigerator (not a mini), stove, microwave, bathroom, shower and plenty of sleeping space for everyone. The beds were comfortable too. It was so convenient not having to stay in a hotel or drive back and forth each day to the reunion. DO NOT BOOK WITH CRUISE AMERICA unless you want to put your family through a nightmare. Their is 0 effort to clean and inspect the RVs at this location. Our RV Smelled odd upon pick up, the smell of which was covered up by Febreze, which quickly wore off as we went on our way. Also The RV Was filthy, hair in the shower, disgusting counter tops. A couples hours on the road we found out what the smell was as feces and urine from the previous tenant started leaking into the main error of the RV. The toilet was clogged and crack... read more
This is a great place to rent rvs!
If I could give zero or negative stars I would. I booked an RV online with cruise America thru this location. I booked two months prior to my vacation. Reservation confirmed thru email for 30 ft RV. Called Monday to confirm with Ray Nas over the phone he confirmed with a pick up time of 10 am. Supposedly, the RV broke down and was being fixed however, they failed to even notify me until the Friday less than 24 hrs before our trip on Saturday!!
