So we used Cruise America to transport my friends family of 5 across country. Picked up in San Diego & dropped in Nashville. Now I own a 40' 5th wheel, which is why I volunteered to drive. If I had known about the difficulties, I may have suggested the family pay the drop-off prices to avoid the frustrations. Though it was quite a bit more than doing it yourself. We reserved for 3 nights as a test run to see if long distance RV travel might appeal to us. Bill at this Cruise America office was very helpful and straightforward. Unfortunately, the RV we got, which had Florida plates and Bill told us was not part of his regular fleet, was riddled with problems. The propane/carbon monoxide alarm would go off when the water heater was turned on. The fridge would use propane but never cool, so the food we brought had to be used up by day 2. I went to 3 RV rentals early in the morning and struck out, but Cruise America at San Clemente saved the day for us. We were grateful to Bill and Lamie at this rental for their great service with friendly attitude and promptness. We will definitely come here again to rent future RV as they were without any problems or issues. The vehicle was perfect all around with no break-downs, or any issues.

Do not rent from here. The guys is a compete liar. RV had so many issues called travelers assistance and was told I would be compensated upon return. When returned they would. It do a walk around on the unit and was over charged for fuel. STAY AWAY unless you want to be robbed and have your trip ruined due to all the issues the RV’s they have.
