Cruise America left myself, my disabled wife , and disabled mother on the side of the road for 3 days. The RV , had 130000 miles on it , the generator quit in the first hour and the transmission was getting stuck in 1st gear. They have refused to refund ALL my money and refuses to pay for the rental van , back home. The generator had no oil, and the air cleaner was filthy. BE AWARE THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL AND HAS NO PROBLEM LEAVING YOU ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD , IN THEIR WORE OUT RV'S.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION - STILL BEWARE if renting Unit 307219. Filthy, bug infested, smelly vehicle. No improvement from renter who posted on this vehicle 10 months ago! We picked up the vehicle on 6/8 and spent over 2 hours cleaning it after pickup - dirt, grime, sticky residue on all surfaces, stains, clumps of dog hair, dead roaches, clogged vents, trash, food, and cigarette butts in cabinets and under seats. I wrote a review once before but no longer see it. Please do not rent from this location. It is poorly run and the vehicles are poorly Maintained and the infested with bugs.
I rented an RV from a local dealer. Upon pick up I realized water dripping. Really didn’t think much of it until I got home and it was still dripping. The following morning I went back to the dealer and told them the fresh water tank was leaking. They said they couldn’t fix it and had no replacement RV. We were not going to have a fresh water hookup where we were going. No shower, Toilet or fresh waters period for 5 days! The local dealer was able to credit 1 day. Much appreciated! I had planned my family rv trip for months. Based on previous reviews I was a little nervous about renting from this location. So I called ahead of time expressing my concerns. The girl assured me they had resolved the issues and it was just one angry customer. They got rid of the bugs and the rv's were clean and serviced regularly.
