We were told that we had to be there for 1:30 or we may forfeit our time to pick up. So we get there at 1:20. Woman doing the reservations wasn't even there. We were told to watch a video to familiarize ourselves with the rental. While we were doing that other people came in and took our 1:30 spot and we had to wait. We were the only ones there before and then we were late. NOT Nice. We were waiting for almost 30 minutes. Then we had to check in still. When you are on a time frame it matters.
We rented the RV at the Henderson location near Las Vegas. In a nut shell: 1. Grey water sensor didn’t work from Day 1, showed full tank upon minimal use. That was hard to manage. Created the need for constant calculation and early dumping. Otherwise the bath got flooded with grey water. 2. Rain was pouring throuh closed windowswetting the beddings every rainy night. 3. I rented an RV for 16 days and had one of the best trips of my life. I did a one way new vehicle special, which was cheaper than a rental car. I have had new vehicles and expected to have some minor issues pop up (I assume that is why it was so cheap). I had to unscrew the cabinet to open the valves for the water heater, the mirror was loose and caused some headaches, but Cruise America/Canada refunded the cost of the tools I bought without any issue.
