I was in a crisis. I was out of life-sustaining medicine an contacted the Crozer-Chester crisis hotline. Their doctor was the one who prescribed the medicine. I lost my job November 7th and contacted the Welfare office immediately. My healthcare should've started on December 1st, but because Welfare took over 3 weeks to review my case changes when their obligated by law to review these changes within 5 days, my healthcare isn't starting until January 1st.
