Great local gem that serves great home style cooking! Great place for a simple meal, family or business gathering. Service is always friendly and prompt. Enjoy!
The food is good if you know what to get and what to avoid. If you want catfish stop on by. If you want chili but don’t like a salt lick try somewhere else. They have good soups. Country fried steak isn’t great. They have a tasty BBQ plate but I have only had the sausage. Anyway, when I want catfish I stop by because you can’t beat theirs. Good salads but expensive.
Patty melt was good but dry and too many grilled onions. Catfish was good and Cheeseburger had too many toppings.
Cool little place, good atmosphere, food was descent, nothing great, but not terrible. Grilled shrimp tasted like fresh from the gulf somehow, didnt taste frozen - best thing we ate. Prime rib wasn't very good, very cheap cut, a lot of grissle & fat, but $20, you aren't expecting a lot. Burger wasn't bad, good flavor but a little dry, about average. Onion rings tasted handmade, definitely didnt taste like they had been frozen. "Chocolate cobbler" was basically a brownie - dry, not great, tasted like store bought from walmart... read more
