Our whole family cannot wait to return! The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking! The vibe of the hotel cannot be beaten for a lakeside vacation. There is plenty to do around the hotel and we appreciated the walking-distance options to keep us busy and entertained when not at the lake.

Major renovations occuring during our visit, alhough they had not reached our room yet, which was a big part of issue. The room was obviously needing a refresh, which on its own is one thing, but having renovation work (hammering) starting at 8am on a Sunday was just too much to overlook. Not the wake-up we were hoping for after a late night prior at a wedding. Overall there is much better value to be found in Lake Placid
