I had a wonderful experience living here in Crown Towers. The proximity to the med school, public health school, architecture school, and arts school can simply not be beat. In addition, I very much enjoyed the wonderful views of the campus and city. The apartment itself was spacious and renovated, and was well-suited for my needs. I’m moving out of Crown Towers after 4 years, and even though I loved my view and the convenience of living in downtown New Haven, what I’m going to miss the most is the most legendary doorman to ever exist: Johnny. Every weekend night, he made me feel safe. He was always a welcoming smile, always made me laugh, and single handedly made Crown Towers feel like home. Will miss him dearly. Towers is lucky to have him!
The highlight of my time in Crown Towers has certainly been my experiences with the building’s warm, friendly, and funny staff. All of the doormen are remarkably kind and helpful, but Johnny in particular is always a reliable source of a smile and a laugh any time you walk in the building.
I have been living here for the past half year, and one person who sticks out it is Johnny, the security greeter. He is a really great person and is sociable. He is very approachable and is always willing to help with any issues related to mail. Without him, my experience in the Crown Towers would be so different. Thank you so much for everything you do Johnny!!!
A great place to live! A special shoutout to Johnny (the doorman) for always brightening my day. He’s super helpful, kind, and sure to make you laugh – even on tough days. Additional shoutouts to Willie (maintenance) for keeping this place running like a well-oiled machine – and to all the other doormen who greet me every morning. A great crew!
