In a state of near-desperation with an overheating engine one Saturday morning, I found the first repair shop I could and struck the jackpot. Vir and his team treated me with great courtesy and provided reassurance that the car would be looked at by mid-week. I would be called before any major expense was incurred. Dropped my 2000 Honda Civic SI off here for a timing belt replacement and received high-quality work and helpful advice when I went to pick it up. The mechanic took a photo and notified me that my crankcase pin was sheared, explaining the risks of not replacing it. They used a Gates timing belt kit—my only concern with that is Gates now uses Chinese-made bearings for their tensioners which can affect longevity and reliability.
