I had a BAD experience with FORTIUS (aka Crown Security System). To summarize, my system stopped working and Fortius failed to communicate this clearly, leaving me unmonitored for 3 months during which my neighbor was robbed. Unlike my new provider, ADT, whose comparable $50 fees cover maintenance and who provide an app for remote monitoring, Fortius wanted to charge $200 to replace hardware that was just 3 years old.
