Never again. Don't use, tell your friends (I sure will). We moved from NZ to Australia this year, the packers were good, hence one star. Upon arrival our 75" TV was smashed. We filed an insurance claim and then experienced crap service from Crown as they tried to avoid doing what was clearly the right thing. We had listed two TVs on the manifest with a combined value of $2500, they said because we didn't list them separately they were deemed of equal value, utter BS (see attached photo). Recently moved furniture from NZ to Australia. Movers were great. Packing was great. Quote was misleading. Once packed and on the day before shipping we're asked for another whopping 60% on top of quote, else it won't be shipped. Extortion! We paid as we needed the furniture. We then asked for a refund as it must be a miss calculation and got 3% or less refund. Super disappointed. Left with a super sour taste in my mouth. Don't rely on their quotes! Beware!

This company is great at the start so they get your business, but the end result deserves a zero rating! We relocated from NZ to Australia last year, over 5 months to get our container, and that's not before charging us a further $500 to clean an item before releasing the container. Items broken is just not worth the hassle of claiming, because you get nowhere with Crown. If you are looking at moving overseas, I highly recommend you sell everything or find another company.

We are so disappointed. Crown staff in New Zealand were great but, oh my word, once our shipment was taken on 14th December until May 2024 we've had endless trouble. No-one knew anything about our shipment, didn't return our calls, said they would get back to us and never did. When it eventually arrived in Australia they declared our coffee table needed fumigating for another $1,078. A new oak coffee table...yeah right. Moving with Crown Relocations has been one of the most stressful experiences of my move. I moved from Brisbane to central Queensland. On pick-up day, the crew and team did not communicate with me at all - I was given a 10-1pm time slot and the crew showed up at 2pm. I was promised 3-5 days arrival of my consignment and even paid extra for weekend delivery. They came 17 days later and my bed frame was broken.
