Moving from Perth to northern Spain - with a precious library and a two-person household - we were a "little" stressed. As always, the temptation is to go with the cheapest option for removals. We resisted that temptation and settled on the Crown quote - not cheap, but not outrageous. I have no idea WHY we felt good about Crown...perhaps it was the no-BS approach by their Perth rep, and his helpful understanding of a nervous book-collector! We have used Crown previously, so trusted them to move us this time as they were excellent last time. I am, however, glad that I will never have to move with them again! No visit was made to make an inventory. The packers came with only 6 boxes and nowhere near enough materials. They packed our boxes incorrectly and did not repack them at depot, despite verbally promising to pack them correctly. I think they may have had too many jobs per day.
