Crowndale and it's receptionists have always been incredibly kind and comforting to myself and my family. Making sure that we're seen and any requests are dealt with.
Most of the receptionists are rude, unprofessional and extremely unsympathetic towards patients. However, the doctors and other medoical staff are excellent. It is very difficult to get through on their phone lines and difficult to get to see a Dr. This surgery unfortunately has gone down hill over the years, massive shame!
After a long wait at the phone ( even if I was apparently the 6th in line), I explained what I needed and I was told initially there were no appointments for the following 2 weeks. After further questions I actually discovered that an appointment was booked for the day after without me knowing! The receptionist was absolutely unhelpful and condiscendent and instead of trying to fix things was annoyed at my questions. One of the worst customer experience I ever had.
Absolutely awful experience. Called everyday to get a appointment at 8am and still no face to face and the wait is 2 weeks for a telephone appointment. This Surgery really needs to be investigated!
Each time I have tried to call to speak to reception i have had to wait at least half an hour before I have reached the front of the queue. Today when I called I was 18th in the line. They need more staff or they need to take on less patients if they cannot deal with the number of patients they have in a timely manner .
