The therapist I was seeing ghosted me for weeks. I was told by her that she will be on holiday for a few weeks and we’ll meet a certain date but she never called or made that appointment. I called and asked the office why she never reached out and they had no answers other than they will get in contact with her and that it’s her responsibility to do schedule my appointments which I agree. I really wanted to have a good experience here, but unfortunately the communication and consistency were not reliable. I had multiple appointments cancelled or never scheduled after being told they would be. It became difficult to maintain any momentum in therapy because follow-through just wasn’t there. I’m transferring my care to another provider where scheduling and communication are more dependable. I hope the practice improves these areas, because consistency is essential for people seeking support.
