It's a hidden gem in Iowa City. One of my favorites. I'm a local resident who grew up in Iowa City, and I have always loved this store. Growing up I bought dressy mens dress pants, bandannas, bags, silver, jewelery and much more. They also have an international gift store where they sell things from 3rd world countries and give the money back to them.

Fun little used place This is an interesting little store. It has your normal Goodwill type merchandise (1960's lamps, old bedding, ugly knick-knacks), but mixed in there you can find some nice things. They are priced much lower then Goodwill. I was looking for Children's clothing. I found boy's t-shirts for .25 each! (yes I said .25 :) Pajama sets $1-$2, pants $1-$3. The only downside is the selection. It's very limited. the Crowded Closet....something for everyone and world wide goods as well! I ventured into the Crowded closet one day many years ago looking for some Halloween items, and since then I have visited and re-visited this store more times than I can mention! It is neat, clean, well organized and has friendly, helpful staff. The prices are low and on more than one occasion I even received a lower price on and item for one reason or another.
