My storage unit was broken into, all valuable contents were stolen. The facility has no cameras and apparently no insurance. Don't store your items there.

Absolute trash. Everybody I know has had their storage unit broken into. I discovered my storage unit today broken into as well. I called the lady who runs the place and she said she doesn't know what we expect her to do about it. She won't invest the money to have power installed, so her only form of security is Trail cameras. With the money coming in from a unit this size every month the only reason to not secure your investment would be that you are the one organizing the theft.
