I've been going here for years, but my most recent experience was unacceptable. I had glasses made for my daughter that are heavy and uncomfortable. When we went back to get them adjusted to fit better, the staff had a terrible attitude. but the service in the optical department is lacking. I wouldn't recommend getting glasses here based on this experience.
Wonderful with children. Highly recommend optometrists. However I wasn’t informed on booking that there would be an out of pocket cost, and got a nasty shock as a result. Was just told that I should’ve been told upon booking- as a pension card holder this cost is significant to me on a very limited income. I was also told the optometrist would be able to help with the particular concern I had, however this was not the case and have had to be referred to someone else. Paul Croucher is fantastic and has gone above and beyond for my family over the years. Definitely wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyes moving forward. I would however love to have the option of an online booking system or email contact as I struggle to get through on the phone most times. An option for after hours/ weekend spaces would also be helpful for those who have unusual work hours.
Paul Croucher and the team are fantastic. They went above and beyond late one Friday afternoon and provided exceptional care and the follow-up outside of business hours was truly amazing. I highly recommend Croucher Rateau Chew Optometrists.
Such a great place for kids with disabilities my oldest gets on so well with Daniel and always has a laugh with him my youngest 1st time today and Johnny was so patient with him
