Great place to see narrow gauge steam engines and diesel Great for families and young kids Only thing they need to work on is the village and definitely miss the boat ride.
I hadn’t been to Crossroads Village in about 30 years, and coming back with my own daughter for the Day Out With Thomas event was a good excuse to return. The staff were helpful right away, including pointing us to the best seats on the Huckleberry Railroad for getting a clear view of Thomas. That kind of small tip makes a real difference when you’re there with a little kid. Beyond the train ride, the village itself is worth the walk. The kids enjoyed Thomas the train ride. We spent 2 hours around the village, the staff members were very welcoming and nice. I would recommend it to families with young kids
What a hidden gem!!! Took my grandkids here, it was so much fun! We rode Thomas the train, then went on The carousel, ferris wheel and a couple other rides it was a lot of fun and very reasonably priced, including the food and the gifts. I would definitely go back.
