Cheap and small. Theese idiots can't cancel an a count right to save their lives. I keep getting the run around from some ditsy kids they pay to work the counter. My family loved this gym. But they sold and closed their doors, and transferred contracts to another gym without proper notice.
Until they took everyone's money and closed their doors.
They DID close down abruptly, but I LOVE the gym they sold out membership to. It's bigger with way more amenities.
Joining Golds Gym apparently crossroads sold out and closed without telling me I received a phone call from my workout partner on my way to crossroads only to find out it was closed. Wow! I can't believe they closed without informing us as I was just there working out sat and my brother in law just joined last week. I was so angry about crossroads not telling me about their "merger" with Performax that I drove straight past Performax and joined at Golds Gym. Doors are closed I showed up to Crossroads in Layton today at 7:00 am to find the doors locked and a note on the door stating I am now a member of another gym in Layton... If I wanted to join Performax I would have in the first place. Bad form Crossroads. Bad form!
Ive been a member of crossroads for a year & a half. I'm happy with the gym. The cleaning staff is awesome - they are always maintaining the gym & keeping it fresh, sanitized, & clean. I'm 34 & have 3 kids & I have never had a complaint about the childcare. The staff is awesome. My children love going to the gym. They cry on days that we don't! Be warned, even if you have a Verification of Disability and you attempt to terminate your gym membership, your request will get denied if your primary care physician is a physician assistant. According to Crossroads Fitness, that is not a real doctor and it is very obvious, based on my attendance at the gym, that I am unable to use the facility due to medical issues, Crossroads Fitness refuses to terminate my membership.
