Warning all students: do not ask Miss Balina’s to be your supervisor when you are completing practicum and internship. I had her secured as a supervisor for two months when she randomly let me know that she didn’t have enough clients to fulfill my hours. We agreed on 20 hours a week and then she proceeds to tell me that she only sees about 10 clients and that she didn’t know what had been going on with her the week. I have had nothing but amazing experiences with Crossroads. My counselor Tanya is amazing. She seriously helped me through some hard times with myself and my relationship. My relationship has completely transformed. She is not judgy or rude at all. She didn’t just hold a notebook and coldly ask questions. She’s so sweet and kind and caring.
