As a downtown Hopkinton resident I am hugely disappointed at Crosspoint's decision to lease the former Colella's building to CVS. I am a current CVS - Ashland customer and have no need for a location just two miles closer. That space would far better serve Hopkinton residents as a market. A market within walking distance of downtown will do much more for the property value of the building as well as other downtown business and residential properties. We don't need or want a CVS in Hopkinton. Who really thought we did? For real. Fire them. Bring in the Whole Foods and see it prosper. Or that fabulous Brothers! Yes!
Very disheartening to learn that you've contracted with CVS to occupy the former Colella's Supermarket site. The location is in the epicenter of our downtown and this is not the spot for a CVS. Not to mention the ongoing legal battles between CVS and Hopkinton Drug which has been in Hopkinton for years. Please reconsider and contract with another grocery store - your consumers will be much happier.
No point in bringing CVS to Hopkinton. There are already sufficient and even better options. NO TO CVS IN HOPKINTON.
You should be ashamed bringing CVS into Hopkinton, considering the legal battle between Hopkinton Drug and CVS over the years. The CVS company should not be allowed in our unique town, as it not only changes the charm that we are trying to build back downtown, but it degrades the townspeople's voice as we've already said “no” to having this pharmacy come to our town.
