I was referred to Crossman Landscape by a business associate who knew the kind of talent required to pull off a landscape project over 100k. They provided a competent concrete & stone subcontractor and remained involved in all aspects of my project. Mr. Crossman personally worked with my landscape architect and went out of his way to provide quality plant material. Not material purchased from Home Depot. I hired them to do a patio, garden and arbor. I hire them because of their references, she dropped some very of reputable names including architects. I was very surprised when the plans they presented were so awful. We did a couple of go-arounds without improvement. I did some checking and the names she said they had done work for wasn't really true. Crossmans had worked as sub-sub contractors who had worked for the reputable names--not directly. I could not believe how little maintenance Crossman was doing for the company that brought me aboard. When questioned about the details Crossman refused to admit there was any problem. I let them go and brought in a company that I knew was reputable. Immediately, I received recognition as a better manager.

I am having problems with communication. Non of the Crossman employees seem to speak English. Mr. Crossman can't understand anything that we want. If it is not 'off the shelf' basic landscaping then Crossman doesn't know what it is. We would like to be better natured about this, but we have been left little choice.
