Three years ago I walked to my nearest gym and found out that they offered a free taster session. I'm in my sixties and had actively avoided gyms ever since my schooldays and had never heard of CrossFit. They do a 'Masters and Scaled' workout three times a week for those over 50 and anyone who wants to do a scaled down version of the main Workout of the Day. I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 10 years ( USA and UK), and this is truly one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. The programming here is definitely challenging, but the great thing is that everything can be scaled to your ability. It doesn’t matter your age, size, or experience level—there are always options so you can get a great workout that works for you.
