I cancelled my membership, yet they continued charging my card for months anyway. When I noticed the charge, I emailed them to explain the situation. It then took them two weeks to actually cancel my membership, even after I had already requested it. When they finally responded, they said they would cancel it but refused to refund the money, even though I clearly showed them proof that I had already cancelled and that the mistake was entirely on their side. We couldn’t recommend Urban Energy more. I can’t say enough great things about this urban CrossFit gym. From day one, the atmosphere has been welcoming, energetic, and motivating. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable—they take the time to break down movements, mans offer personalised feedback. The workouts are always challenging but scalable, making it a perfect fit for both beginners and experienced athletes. I was visiting the Gold Coast, looked up local boxes and decided to drop in — Johann was absolutely lovely and so welcoming from the moment I walked in. The workouts were tough but awesome, exactly the challenge I was looking for! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.
