I've been a member for about 1 year now. I'm 47, retired military, on the heavier side, and new to the Roanoke are. At the start of my time at Unify, walking stairs hurt my knees, I couldn't run more than a few 100 feet due to pain, and I k ew no one in the Valley. Today, I squatted 385# for 3 reps, am now running intervals of 400+ meters, stairs do NOT hurt anymore, and I now have a great group of new friends in the area. Unify is a cross-functional type gym.
