I’ve been a member at CrossFit Tierra for a few years now, and I’m not sure why it took me so long to write a review. The community that Alex, Vinny, and the entire coaching staff have built is truly something special. No matter your fitness level, whether you’re a former Division I athlete or just an average Joe, you’ll always feel welcomed and supported here. I really wanted to like this CrossFit gym, but after giving it multiple chances, I feel like I need to share my experience so others know what to expect. The community could be great, and the workouts themselves are fine, but the environment and management issues make it hard to justify the membership cost. The gym is consistently dirty—floors not swept, chalk everywhere, overflowing trash, and equipment that looks like it hasn’t been wiped down in days.
