I had been a member at CrossFit Tempe for 4ish years and while I initially enjoyed my time there, over the past year the culture has shifted in a way that made me decide to cancel. The atmosphere has become increasingly cliquish — you’re either part of the “in crowd” or you’re overlooked. Absolutely love CrossFit Tempe! This is hands down the best CrossFit gym in Arizona. The programming is challenging but scalable, and the coaches genuinely care about your progress and safety. Michelle, the owner, is an incredible leader. Her energy, knowledge, and dedication to the community make this place truly special. I had been at this gym for 7 months and recently requested to cancel my membership due to a conflicting schedule and the cost of membership. This was my first CrossFit gym, and I signed on as an “open gym” member ($99/month) as I was not interested in classes, but instead just wanted to train with with one of my best friends and former coaches/current community staple, Aaron.
