Can’t recommend Salt Shed enough. Jase and Flo have been absolutely fantastic - welcoming, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping everyone improve no matter their fitness level. The atmosphere is great and the coaching is excellent. Every session is well run, challenging, and enjoyable. Have tried a number of gyms in the area over the years and I'm really glad I found this one.
Coaches don’t know what they are talking about, there is a difference between cardio and hypertrophy and they don’t believe in tests between sets all pain no gain 1-2 minutes needed for max results also no machines at all. Got callled out for my form I think the bloke was angry he couldn’t row some 30’s just a horrible place in general
If you’re on the fence about joining or trialling PLEASE take this as your sign and just HAVE A GO - you lose nothing in trying!!! Flo and Jase are incredibly thoughtful, bring the energy and make you feel genuinely included. They simply want you to be and feel like you’re growing into the best version of yourself - for yourself.
best community on the beaches. no friends and no abs when I joined... now I have friends and a six pack... what else can I say!
Varied workouts and a nice community feel to this gym however join with caution as payments were confused and varied (no payment that came out was the same amount and Jason seemed to make it up as he went). When I moved suburbs and left the gym, payments continued coming from my account for several weeks despite asking to have my payment details removed from their system. Jason then claimed I owed the gym several hundred dollars. In hindsight, it was a fine gym until I quit, then it was more like an annoying scam.
